The registered association „State Technical Museum Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V.“ manages exhibitions in

• Schwerin, Marstall
• Wismar, Glashaus at the location of the former Garden Exhibition

Both exhibitions show the engineering history of the Federal State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The main focus is on the history of vehicles. In addition to that, the depots contain collections of the history of communication as well as the history of mills and a comprehensive collection of welding equipment. In Schwerin the show covers more than 800 sqm and in Wismar, the exhibition covers more than 600 sqm.
